Hair Growth: The Inversion Method

In my previous post, "Spirals, Curls, and Coils" I talked about the inversion method for hair growth and gave instructions on how to do it, but I wanted to make sure that if there were any straight-haired ladies who wanted to know how to do it, they wouldn't have to read my curls post. Here's how you work the inversion method:

#1: Get your coconut and olive oil. You will have to estimate how much you will need for how long your hair is, but you will need half the amount of olive oil for however much coconut oil you put in.

#2: Mix the two together and heat the mixture in the microwave until the coconut oil is melted into liquid form.

#3: Begin working this into your roots, gradually working down the length of your hair.

#4: Put your head upside down and massage the oils into your scalp for exactly 5 minutes. Don't do it any longer or you might get a headache!

#5: Tie your hair up into a bun and tie a grocery bag on your head so you don't drip everywhere and leave it sitting for at least 2 hours or overnight.

#6: Finally, wash it out reeaaally well (definitely with shampoo this time) otherwise your hair will be very greasy.. :)

So there you have it!!Do this twice a week until you are happy with the length of your hair. Now, a small note about this method: It does help your hair grow faster than it would normally, but it is not going to grow your hair in a day! It takes time, and anyone who says that they can grow your hair in just 24 hours is lying. I myself have used the inversion method and can say that it works! It helps my hair along, and also makes it extremely soft and touchable. I would recommend it to the ends of the earth if I could! It is absolutely amazing!! Now, go try it!
